 The local market of real estate services, valued at about 114 million EUR annually, is almost non-existent compared to the true creative industries in other parts of the world such as the US/Canada, where the industry turnover exceeds 3.3 billion EUR (equivalent in USD). According to the company RE/MAX, global leader in real estate and the largest franchise in this segment, the local market has a huge potential as it is a field that is in early stages of development. In this context, the North American group will end this year with 12 franchises in Romania and aims at expanding with another 15 offices in 2015 on national level. Globally, RE/MAX is present in 97 countries with over 6,400 offices and 93,000 agents. |
